Flavorseal once again received a Superior rating from AIB International, an independent third-party auditor of food manufacturing, beverages, and packaging companies. The 2012 Superior rating marks the sixth consecutive year that Flavorseal receives this rating from AIB.
The AIB inspectors reviewed Flavorseal’s facility as well as the documentation of their manufacturing practices. The Superior rating, the highest awarded by AIB International, recognizes outstanding food safety and sanitary conditions in their facilities, exemplary training for employees regarding how to properly handle food products, and quality in their products.
The AIB inspection program is part of Flavorseal’s overall Food Safety Program. “Their inspectors do a wonderful job and dig in to help point out areas that we can improve to make us a stronger company.” said Kathy Morris, Flavorseal’s Quality Assurance Manager. “A tough inspection can only help Flavorseal become a better company and supplier.”
